Week 8

 It is week 8 of ACC football.  Here are my picks:

Clemson is the only undefeated team left in the ACC, but haven’t look like a team that can dominate in most of their wins.   

North Carolina – 32

Clemson             -28

In-state rivals face off in Durham as Duke tries to take another step toward legitimate division 1A football team.

Wake Forest – 27

Duke              -  13

The Wahoo’s handed Georgia Tech their first loss of the year last week and now find themselves in a competitive position with a (4-2) record.

N.C. State – 21

Virginia     - 28

In Miami the hurricanes will take their shot at Georgia Tech’s option offense.

Week 7

In week 6 Florida State continued their skid in the wrong direction dropping a 2^nd ACC game in a row. Virginia Tech bounced back but the Miami Hurricanes showed that they have some life left by competing to the very end. Heading into this week Georgia Tech and Clemson are undefeated and both Florida schools are still searching for their first conference win of the yea. Here are my Week 7 picks:

I hate to pick this one, but Miami looked like they figured out how to play football last week while North Carolina looked like they forgot how.

Florida State visits Durham to take on Duke. Oddly enough Duke is ahead of FSU in the ACC standings, but FSU will enjoy a huge talent advantage in this game.

Georgia Tech is benefiting from teams trying to read the option offense rather than attacking and blowing it up. We all know the people that go to UVA like to read.

Big win last week for Wake Forest over Florida State.  This week  Virginia Tech goes to Winston-Salem.

Week 6

In week 5 Clemson showed that they are the real deal by dominating Virginia Tech. Georgia Tech stayed undefeated with their impressive option offense outscoring NC State. Here are muy week 6 picks:




Louisville keeps it close in Chapel Hill

Wake Forest knocks of Florida State in Winston Salem

Clemson destroys Boston College
